Announcing New Panasonic PDRC Extension Cable Kit  

Stevens Point, WI – July 6, 2011 – Gamber-Johnson, an ISO 9001:2008 certified manufacturer of rugged docking stations and vehicle mounting, announces a new Panasonic PDRC Extension Cable Kit (Item No. 7160-0344). 

The new cable kit is designed to attach to Panasonic's 6.5' RGB/Serial/USB cable that comes with the PDRC system.  The kit extends the total length of the Panasonic cable system to 21.5' (USB cable length will be 22.5').  The additional length allows for easy wiring for trunk applications. 

The PDRC Extension Cable Kit is designed to be used with the Panasonic PDRC System (Model CF-VDL03U).  This cable kit will not work with older versions of the PDRC systems.  If you require a cable kit for an older version you must order Item No. 7110-0698. 

The new PDRC Extension Cable Kit includes:

• 15' Video extension cable
• 15' Serial extension cable
• 16' USB 2.0 extension cable with Repeater
• Hardware bag (includes (3) 5" x 1.5" diameter shrink tubes, additional hardware to connect serial and video cable)

The USB extension cable contains an active USB hub (repeater) that ensures USB signals going in and out of the extension cable are buffered to assure signal quality and the meeting of the USB's Electrical and Timing specifications.
