Gamber-Johnson LLC, an award-winning industry leader in the manufacturing of mobile and proAV mounting solutions trusted to be “Rugged, Reliable, and Responsive,” is looking for a Field Service Technician to support our end users’ needs.

What You’ll Do:

Field Service Technicians are the face of the Gamber-Johnson Service Team. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing products in the field and onsite at our world headquarters in Stevens Pont, Wisconsin. Our Service team works directly with our customers ensuring our mission-critical products live up to their reputation of being “Rugged, Reliable, and Responsive”.


  • Troubleshoot and repair electronic components and subassemblies within the facility and/or in the field with customers.
  • Effectively communicate with customers demonstrating unrivaled customer service.
  • Develop and use troubleshooting tools (grids, etc..) to debug nonconforming products.
  • Help with the assembly, maintenance, drilling, and soldering of products.
  • Read and properly interpret engineering drawings and operator procedures.
  • Diagnose and repair both mechanical and electrical defects using a variety of light tools effectively.
  • Perform inventory counts accurately.
  • Identify and comply with ISO 9001:2015 documentation.
  • Make recommendations to improve materials, processes, and quality within the production and service departments.
  • Maintain a safe and organized work area.
