This adapter is completely sealed with an epoxy material, protecting all critical components from shock, vibration, dust, and water ingress. The adapter will filter any voltage spikes and surges that occur on the input voltage line, eliminating any potential damage to the powered device. Electrical isolation between input and output prevents ground loops and allows the output to be used as a negative voltage if required.
