In February of 2022, Gamber-Johnson announced the introduction of a new brand that focuses on the Outdoor enthusiast and was our first product to be directly available to customers through sales channels like Amazon and Bass Pro Shop.

As we worked through the business concepts of our new creation, we quickly understood that we possessed a superior product that no one knew about, and we needed to get the word out to the masses. Much of our concentration was on the marine segment, specifically on displays and devices supporting fishing. As Gamber-Johnson and Zirkona Outdoors are a Midwest-based company, there was no issue finding anglers willing to contribute their 2 cents. From these conversations, we were introduced to the Przekurat boys.

This father-son duo is locally from Stevens Point, which makes them a perfect fit as partners, and they have been highly successful with their fishing careers. Jay is coming off winning the Bassmaster Elite series last year, and Jason has more winnings than we can keep track of, so we are incredibly excited to be working with these guys.

Working with professional anglers like the Przekurats also helped us find gaps in the market to support the higher-end boats and devices used for many tournaments. With their help, we are almost complete with our PRO Series mounts which they will be using on there consoles and bows during the testing phase of the PRO project.

Here is a little more about each of them:

My name is Jay Przekurat and I'm from Stevens Point, WI. I started fishing when I was just 2 years old and learned from my dad, who is also a professional angler. Jason Przekurat grew up fishing the Wisconsin River at a very young age. Little did he know that those early days, honing his skills, would now pay off into achieving a fishing resume that many would only dream about. Since 1995, when Przekurat started his tournament career, he took it upon himself to become a student of the game. He says that every day on the water is a learning experience. Never satisfied is the approach he takes. Always thinking he could be better. Jason’s dream became reality in 2007 when he turned full-time as a professional walleye fisherman. Here a just some of the accomplishments he’s earned along the way. The first major came in 2000, winning the MWC World Walleye Championship on the Mississippi River. Then in 2007, he won the FLW Walleye Tour event in Red Wing, MN. Jason is a 2 Time winner of the prestigious FLW Walleye Tour “Angler of the Year” award. He won it in 2003 and again in 2007 along with the Ranger Cup award. His biggest title yet came in 2016, when he won the prestigious National Walleye Tour Championship on Lake Oahe in Mobridge, SD and in 2020 he won the National Walleye Tour Championship again to become the first angler win the Championship twice.
