Gamber-Johnson Unveils New Docking Station for the Getac ZX10 Rugged Tablet

(STEVENS POINT, WIS – January 11, 2022)  – Gamber-Johnson, a leading supplier of rugged mounting solutions for fleet and public safety vehicles, forklifts, and other mobility applications, announced today that it has launched a new line of cradles and docking stations specifically for the Getac ZX10 tablet.

Gamber-Johnson has partnered closely with Getac to ensure that these solutions are designed to be fully rugged, reliable, and responsive to help professionals in material handling and transportation complete their daily work challenges.

We’re excited to launch this new docking station with Getac as it has great new features that assists the mobile worker,” said Garrett Neta, Product Marketer.

Every inch and detail of the Getac ZX10 docking station is designed to maximize functionality and efficiency while supporting many of Getac’s excellent add-ons. Featuring powered dual USB ports, this docking station provides connections for scanners, printers, or other peripherals needed to support a mobile office. Downward-facing I/O ports, integrated cable restraint, and cable management system simplify the installation while preserving cabin space, and the floating docking connector ensures a reliable connection even in the most rugged environments.

All tablet control buttons are accessible while docked, giving full functionality when on-the-go. The docking station accommodates the tablet's card reader, extended battery, hand strap, stylus, barcode reader, and hard carry handle, allowing for uninterrupted productivity on the job.

Also featured, is a docking connector gasket that provides additional water resistance and protection. The front-facing latch button makes the tablet simple to dock and release with one hand, enabling users to work efficiently.

Gamber-Johnson’s new ZX10 docking station offers optional tri-RF (SMA) antenna pass-through to improve network connection. The Getac ZX10 docking station has a keyed lock to keep your tablet secure, and a VESA 75mm mounting pattern that is compatible with hundreds of Gamber-Johnson motion attachments to ergonomically position the ZX10 within the vehicle.

The docking station has undergone extensive vibration, shock, crash, and lifecycle testing to guarantee its safety and robust electrical features. In addition, Gamber-Johnson has worked closely with Getac to perform the appropriate tests needed to qualify the docking station as a Getac certified product. Both docking station and cradle are available for pre-order today.
